
A basic health unit were students, their families and members of the community receive health care including free medical checkups, screening, testing and vaccination. Liaison with health providers, hospitals and clinics along with transportation is also provided. Upon evaluation subsidized/free treatment and medication is also given on a case-to-case basis. Work on the prevention and spread of disease, counter malnourishment and stunted growth in children and prevention of sickness through timely vaccination, diagnosis, treatment and a healthy meal plan is also given. Drug prevention and rehab through testing and collaboration with drug rehab facilities is also available. This also functions as a space for medical practitioners to offer honorary medical services. Workshops on first aid for students, families, staff and social mobilizers are frequently arranged. Medical camps with implementing partners are set up to provide free treatments and preventive information on different health issues with special focus on Hepatitis and AIDS and other communicable diseases. Facilitation in getting zakat forms for free treatment and disability certificates for getting government facilities.
